Westmorland slate originates from Northern England and has a very distinctive green/grey colour. It is usually laid on the roof in 'graded' sizes i.e. larger slates at the bottom 'grading' downwards in size to the ridge. All slate is reclaimed and hand sorted to ensure quality is consistent.
