First produced in Altham near Accrington, Lancashire, as early as 1887, these bricks are renowned for their iron-hard composition. Used in prestigious projects like the foundations of Blackpool Tower, the University of Birmingham, the Empire State Building, and Battersea Power Station, their history speaks volumes about their quality.

Carefully Salvaged and Restored
This large batch of Reclaimed Accrington facing bricks was expertly salvaged from the Oldham area and meticulously restored using our Quill sand blasting machine. Each brick has been cleaned by hand, ensuring they are ready to be reused in new construction projects. Known for their strength and impervious nature, these Accrington red engineering bricks are classified as Class B, making them ideal for both structural and aesthetic applications.
